celebrated mum's birthday @ Chui Huay Lim Club along Keng Lee Road, its was only a few building beside our teochew clan association building......  the restaurant serves authentic Teochew Cuisine which we loved =)

Cousin's Gathering

met up with the cousins for a weekend gathering @ Seafood International........ food was not up to expectations though service is good....... went over to Toby's dessert @ Parkway Parade for its super delicious durian chocolate cake...... =)

Five & Dime.......

a weekday date with rach brought us to Five & Dime @ River Valley..... a small cosy little place which serves good food..... desserts led us to Udders @ Bukit Timah which satisfied our sweet craving =)......

Orange Thimble......

spent my morning having breakfast at The Orange Thimble @ Tiong Bahru, initially wanted to try out the Tiong Bahru Bakery which is just next door, but it was too crowded even for a weekday morning...... managed to buy takeaways though after reading much reviews about their bread, cost me $14 for 2 brioche, a baguette, a duno wat bun & a croissant, definitely on the high side.......

i guess i was the only customer @ The Orange Thimble, allowing me to enjoy my daily routine in a quiet and cosy environment...... too many cafes that i have yet to try...... will be slowly visiting them one by one though =)

rach and i decided to spend our weekend afternoon lazing at a cafe enjoying our coffee & reading our newspaper...... chose 93 degrees cafe which is situated secludely at the foot of mount faber..... the beans they use are one of the most aromatic i had for a long time =)
