Happy Chinese New Year......

Today is already the fifth day of CNY, time flies..... guess everyone had their share of fun, new year goodies and ang baos..... guess most of the people start work from today.... here are some of the updates to what i have been doing for the past few days......

Working 1pm to 8pm, arranged to have our Bravo watch Lo Hay in the cabin, HC, Kelly, Amos, Adrian, Mdm Rohaida, me, Nicholas & Chief (both recalled) were working together on tat day. Amos prepared the "yu sheng", while me and HC bought sakae sushi, the recalled personnel treat us to Mac for dinner...... =) shiok

Working morning nite, went home to sleep during my 7hrs break in between before gng back to work till next morning.......

大年初三

Slept in the tower after my duty till 11am while waiting for rach, she's coming back from KL..... after tat went home and rest till evening before gng to Han Jiang Teo Chew Restaurant for our lo hay dinner with my family, auntie hong and bro's parents-in-law..... enjoyed the dinner very much cos of their traditional teochew cuisine and lo hay in teochew style..... after dinner, decided to join my bro and his friends at Marina @ Keppel Bay, my 1st time there, enjoyed the sea breeze & nice scenery, din went to their cafe as we were too full...... walked around the park across it , chit chat and took photos......

Watched Ah Long Pte Ltd with bro, sil, rach & parents @ JP, the show was not too bad overall, have a few good laughs, din join them for lunch after the show as we made our way down to orchard to check in for our stay @ Royal Plaza on Scotts...... got quite a good deal for it, with free mini bar & unlimited broandband thrown in..... went shopping all the way till night fell before our legs decided to give it a rest, dinner was @ Newton Circus......

Checked out around 12pm before proceeding to Anchor Point for our makan, saw the news the previous night about the revamped mall and it has been a long time since we last went. Walked over to Queensway also to get a few items before gng home to catch CJ7, a touching storyline which imparts good moral values...... a recommended show for all...... will find time to catch Jay's Kung Fu Dunk...... tml will be gng over Joanne's place for lo hay together with my batch mates..... hope everyone had enjoy their CNY =)

CNY Reunion Dinner......

First of all wish everyone a very happy chinese new year, everyone stay happy, healthy, free of worries and prosperous (collect as many ang baos as possible for those who are still eligible for tat)...... jus finished the Mediacorp CNY countdown programme..... had our reunion dinner over at 1st bro's hse...... he prepared a sumptious dinner for us, ate till so full and have so much laughter around the table....enjoyed the dinner very much...... (da sao is unable to join us as she's still in US, will be back around aug, and rach went back to her parent's hse)...... took a few photos jus now.....

Fruitful Saturday.......

Woke up on a lazy saturday morning, having breakfast bought by mummy together with my must have newspaper..... absorbing the two important 'meals' of the day...... arranged to pick up rach at noon, gng down to vivo for movies and shopping..... had our lunch at Asian Kitchen followed by shopping & movies...... pre-booked the tickets yesterday night for American Gangster at 3.30pm, good show which i had been longing to watch starring Denzel Washington & Russell Crowe, can't get enuff of the former acting..... a pretty long movie which last 150plus mins.... for those who are interested got to act fast as it will be off screen soon......

Went down chinatown in the evening to meet up valerie to have our dinner at the porridge store along chinatown, lots of people queuing up to have their hot & nice porridge served in the cool weather due to the slight drizzle over the sky.... din wait very long for our porridge though...... after tat was walking through the busy streets along chinatown with stores selling lots of nice CNY goodies & stuff..... can heard everyone shouting from their respective stores for customers, everyone have their own tricks in their sleeves in attracting customers all in the good name of making this CNY a joyous occasion..... =)

walked from 7plus to nearly 10pm before heading back home..... had our fun trying out goodies, watching the display and be part of the crowd squeezing past each other only seen here during CNY..... managed to get myself a polo tee, a shirt, a new set of bed sheet & a car purifier from vivo & chinatown.... all rite, gtg back to watch the 2nd half of EPL match featuring Blackburn & Everton..... =)

Rainy Day......

Been raining the whole day since afternoon.... such a nice weather to tuck under the blanket for a gd sleep..... went orchard with rach today, got stuck in the rain as we were lazy to take umbrella from the car as it was too troublesome...... as the rain had no sign no stopping, decided to have our "source of carbo" at Jackie's Chan cafe yet again, our 3rd time there since it opened...... ordered an iced caffe latte, hot chocolate and their chicken glutinous rice, took some photos using our handphones as we din bring our camera out...... stay there and enjoy our drinks while waiting for the rain to stop.....

after our makan, the rain was small enough to make our walking possible without being drenched...... walked over to Far East for their supposingly AF sale, but to our dismay, it was cancelled without any reason, was quite disappointed, triggered to me what HC & Adel told me in the morning before gng home from work.... maybe it was a good thing that it was not held at all, save $$$.... managed to saw kelvin(just saw him few hrs before tat) and his wife while walking down towards LIDO.... anyway din managed to get anything for myself today =( , rach was the big winner, bagging quite a number of "trophies" from our usual haunt. Met up with valerie after her work before gng down to sin ming for dinner at this restaurant, (http://www.hookedonheads.com/), served very good dishes and thai food..... after tat was brownie's time at baker's story just opposite the road......

Will be gng down chinatown jalan jalan tml and hopefully there will be no rain, and finally got the trade pass for the Singapore Airshow 2008 coming up soon in few weeks time..... =)
