Malacca Trip......

Back from my malacca trip on saturday night with rach and valerie, on our way back, decided to go Tebrau City, one of the largest shopping mall in JB, but we lost our way..... only managed to find our way there after stopping at several petrol stations asking for directions, it was fun though...... i love road trips venturing around though we may be lost..... as it adds a certain excitement to it =P, anyway below are some of the photos we took during our trip.

we stay in their equator club room @ hotel equatorial, a big room that comes with 2 balcony overseeing the view of Malacca city, decided on this as Valerie joining us on fri night......

after unpacking our bags, me and rach walked over to their shopping malls juz across the street for some shopping.... lunch was at Nando's, our favourite joint in M'sia and the last time we ate was in KL last year.....

not to forget the must see -Red Square and St Paul's church, a landmark in Malacca......





Valerie joined us on fri afternoon, went to their famous Jonker St for their well-known local fare, chicken rice ball and their special Chendol......

went back hotel to rest our tired legs before gng for our much awaited dinner, "Satay Celup".......

and here we go......

we had a total of about 50-60 stick of satay celup, were so full that we could hardly move, drove down to Jonker Street as it will be bustling with activities only on weekends,we enjoyed the slow walking and the various show put up......

last but not least was to "Xuan's Musical Cafe" for our supper while enjoying the live band singing...... truly enjoyed ourselves during this trip..... =)

Baby Zllen's Man Yue Party......

Yesterday was baby Zllen's "Man Yue" party, went to collect my baby nephew's cake from The Pattisier in the morning before the party starts at 12pm...... it was quite crowded with all my aunties, uncles, cousins, little children etc..... despite all the people and commotion, baby Zllen still managed to sleep soundly till around 6 plus for his milk =) ..... took a few photos after the guests left and finished tidying up the whole place.....

Enjoyable Weekend......

Juz return from 2nd bro's hse for dinner and playing with Baby Zllen.... he's getting cuter everyday =), rach & i went bugis and vivo this afternoon...... and we met up with ZL & YL yesterday for karaoke session, enjoyed ourselves very much...... below are the photos we took yesterday......

After our karaoke, went down to tcc @ Keppel Marina, fortunately we made a reservation as it was quite crowded, got ourselves comfortable sofa seats.... had our dinner there and chit chat for a few hours..... feel a bit pai seh to stay so long thus walk around the park opp Keppel Marina before deciding to go for supper @ Jalan Kayu, in the meantime drove there using KPE which had juz opened.......

it does not took us too long to reach our destination with the new expressway...... and there we were, ordering our pratas, satay, thosai and drinks...... =)

all rite, one more cycle before my malacca trip..... will be meeting Valerie there and drove back together on sat for Baby Zllen's "man yue" party on sunday afternoon..... =)

Baby Zllen......

May i present to you my nephew, Baby Zllen..... went to bro's hse almost everyday except when i am working to check out Baby Zllen.... always yearning to see him everyday and play with him, he is so cute whenever he is awake and moving his small arms around and kicking around.... and his occasional hiccup.... =)

Baby Zllen says Hi......

rach and i went to The Pattisier yesterday to order Baby Zllen's 1st month birthday cake, it was quite crowded hence got to wait for quite some time before being served..... after that, drove over to Liang Court for lunch @ Tampopo which was famous for their black pig cutlet...... its was my 3rd time and rach's 2nd..... the crispy pork cutlet are so good that u will always craved for more......

after lunch was to proceed to Tanjong Pagar for our selection of bridal services, and managed to sign up with the 1st and only one that we chanced upon (rach had actually only set her sight on this particular one) , we signed on the spot as we were very satisfied with what they provided...... and were lucky to have their consultant / designer to be our coordinator.... =)

went to IKEA in the evening to scour for a sofa bed but did not get what we want as it does not fit into our required measurements....... queensway was to be our next destination and rach managed to get a pair of nike shoes while i was unable to get the bag i longed for....... and it was home sweet home......

*yawns*...... got to go work at 4pm later as i am rostered as T3 controller for the next 3 days....... enjoy the coming week ahead..... =)

Busy Like A Bee......

As wat my post title stated, kept busy for the past few days...... working as usual and during off days will be at my bro's house.... playing with our latest member in our family, baby Zllen...... he is so cute..... rach and i are always missing him whenever we are back at home..... hahaha.... all rite, got to go over to my bro's place now for dinner and playtime with baby Zllen..... =)

Joyous Mood.......

Yippeee...... I am promoted to uncle level today le..... er sao gave birth to the third generation of our Koh's family this morning.... =), wanted to go down in the afternoon but mum wants me to fetch her down again as she wants to come back (mum & dad went at 3am) and brew some tonic thus will be gng down tonite to see my little nephew..... everyone in our family are so excited and happy....

and we juz had our family lunch yesterday at Jade Palace @ Forum, our 2nd time there, an authentic cantonese restaurant that served really good dim sum which are fresh, pipping hot and jus nice on the palates.

after lunch, me and rach proceed down to vivo to walk around 1st before our movie, WALL-E, redeem my 2 gold class tickets for the movie, inside the cinema, the sparsely spaced out individual reclining chair was so comfortable that i enjoy myself so much. in addition to the movie which is light-hearted, fun and touching specially the scene between the love WALL-E have for EVE, the movie also instill a sense of self reflection that what we will become once the over reliance of high tech geeks in the future......

went down timberland sales @ Expo with my watch people on friday, bought a few stuff before rushing back to Changi for work, the past 2 days was also spend with rach's family who drove down from m'sia...... dinner together between our 2 families on fri, met them at orchard on sat for some shopping and lunch before gng back for night duty....... it has been a busy week and more programmes lining up....... till then, enjoy the week ahead.......
