Changi Seafood.....

Went for our family dinner last weekend, this time was @ Changi Village as suggested by 2nd bro..... ordered some of their signature dishes including chilli crab & "la la" =)

Ash Ash Please Go Away.......

for the past few days, have been following closely on Eurocontrol twitter on the the latest updates & developments over their airspace restrictions due to the volcanic ash caused by the eruption.... were relieved that UK lifted its flight ban this morning & flights were slowly resuming back to normal.......

the usually super busy night duty due to the europe flights were clearly missed for the past 5 days...... our heart goes out to those passengers stranded around the globe, our europe trip are one week away, rach & i are keeping our fingers crossed that we can make it for this trip.....

so ash ash pls go away...... =)

celebrated baby's birthday yesterday by cooking her favourite pasta for dinner, in addition i tried making meatballs which was a little saltish to our liking, will improve on that the next time around.....

Lazy Afternoon.....

after doing up the household chores this morning, made myself a grilled chicken sandwich for lunch armed with a cup of coffee & the newspaper, it was the perfect afternoon =)

decided to roast chicken again, this time with more seasoning, vegetables & additional chicken wings by the side...... the chicken tastes juicier & more tender this time round =)

Updates......

time flies.... from the time rach & i chose our unit -> waiting for the whole project to complete -> awaiting our keys collection -> finalising our renovation & furnishing -> till move in now...... it took us almost 1 year 2 months..... to date, we had already moved in for nearly 2 weeks & are loving every moment of it though it took some time getting used to.... we are also learning to master the art of cooking with some help from 1st bro ( he gave me a Jamie Oliver's recipe book), rach & i still went back to mum's place for home cooked food whenever we are free......

travelling time to work have been greatly reduced & a drive to town is only a mere 10 mins =), free time have been spent cleaning up the house as there are still units around us undergoing reno..... counting down to our london / paris trip in 2 weeks time =)
