Fun-filled weekend......

Went to the preview of T3 this morning with my daddy, mummy, 2nd bro, sis-in-law, auntie, cousins and rachel (9 0f us to be exact)......reached home around 8.30am after my morning duty and arranged to meet up at my house at 10 before gng down together. Had our lunch at terminal 1 before proceeding to take the skytrain to t3, it was not very crowded as it was still quite early, saw some of my colleagues along the way. It was an enriching and fun tour of t3, personnel were scattered around t3 to provide assistance and information of the new building, i must admit tat it was huge and magnificent......me and my bro brought along our camera and we took 200 plus photos.......hahaha......and we had a good time together, photo taking, joking and talking about our childhood days with my cousins........the tour took us around 2 hrs as it was a leisurely self guided tour.....sat around the transit area resting our tired legs after exploring the "paradise" as it was called.....2plus we were on our way back to t1, decided to head for desserts at chinatown, did not managed to get parking lots thus it was a change of venue, Maxwell market.....our desserts turn out to be a heavy meal......"dim sum", "carrot cake", "oyster egg", "char kway teow", etc began to fill our table.....hahaha.....we are all putting on weight with all this "makan-ing"........home sweet home it was after tat to have my sleep before waking up at 7plus juz now....... and enjoy the slideshow taken today....

Arranged to meet up with rachel at bugis on Sat, went to pray before gng to Bugis Junction to have our lunch......decided on Crystal Jade Macau Cafe at the basement and the food there is to my liking......value for money...... photos for our "sinful" indulges.....

Preview of T3......

Received the tickets for the preview of T3 this coming weekend yesterday.....a total of 10 tickets are given to each staff and its exclusive only to CAAS staff and their families, thus will be gng to the preview this sunday with my family members after my morning night duty.........will take photo and upload it after tat......

the tickets.......

T3 will be the largest among the the 3 terminals and will be opening next year, it means more and more traffic to handle.....saw the A380 parked at t3 yesterday and was instructed to gave them a tour of Changi yesterday night while i was the ground controller......din managed to let him taxi too far due to traffic building up, but i suppose they got the 'taxi training' they wanted......A380, hailed as the Queen of aviation looks magnificent....hopefully i will be able to try it out one day....hahaha.....and the hotel situated beside T3, the Crowne Plaza Hotel (their slogan - "the place where people meet") will also be scheduled to be ready by March, could see the workers working throughout the night from the tower......guess will go try it out too if possible....all rite, nothing much to blog about....enjoy the weekend that is approaching.... =)

Back.......

Back from Krabi on Fri night, touched down on runway 02L around 10pm plus, holiday mood ended the moment we stepped out of the tiger airways airbus 320. It was a fun trip, re-energize after the 4 days 3 nights trip, feels so refreshed. It feels good to have a holiday once in a while, after all the checking out procedures, reached home around 11pm, bathed and was on the bed by 11.30pm cos i got to work at 8am the next day, was rostered to go back to work, anyway it means only 2 days of vacation leave was deducted for my 4 days of holiday, no complaints though as i think i only have a few days of vacation leave left but i did still have my 10 plus days of unrecorded leave.....(be warned, this will be a long post)

During our Krabi trip, we took around 600 shots of photos but it was still not enuff for us, hahaha...... got to delete those we think were not nicely taken to free up space, my fault as i forgot to bring the 2G memory card along, tot it will be enuff........in the end, even had to use our handphone to take some of the photos. The trip adds on to our collection of photos we took all this while, an astonishing 8G worth of photos. Too lazy to upload all the photos thus done up a slideshow as below, anyway pictures speak a thousand words......

First day.......

The flight was delayed on tuesday evening, only managed to depart around 45mins behind schedule, reached Krabi around 7.30pm which is 1 hr behind S'pore. Got into the minivan that was provided by the hotel. After checked in, went to the hotel restaurant to have our dinner which was included in the package we took up. Walked along Ao Nang beach which was their main street of shopping after dinner, din really venture far as we were both tired and decided to continue tomorrow, thus it was back to hotel for my much needed sleep cos i din really sleep after my morning duty on tuesday.

Second day.......

Wanted to rent a motorbike to travel around but was told by the hotel staff that it will be quite dangerous cos the road is slippery due to the rain and there are alot of small lanes, thus not advisable for foreigners to do tat, i was quite touched by their consideration that they actually care cos some places i went to do not care much for their guests as long as they got money for watever services they provided, regardless of any undesirable conditions it may posed to us......so in the end we decided to go Krabi town using the transport provided by the hotel, of cos.....Nothing much in Krabi town, only managed to buy some clothes and tidbits to be brought back to S'pore, lunch was eaten at Pizza Company followed by Swensens while waiting for the transport to pick us up again in 3 hrs time......Rain started to fall again by the time we reach the hotel, rest in the room waiting for the rain to stop before walking along the main streets of Ao Nang Beach again.....Dinner was at this place where most of the seafood stores were located, chose the one with the most customers and began to order our dishes, 5 dishes including chilli crab cost us only less than SGD $20.......shiok.....after that it was shopping time while it also helped to digest our full and blown up stomach in the mean time.......

Third day.....

Woke up early for our breakfast before our much anticipated Phi Phi Island Tour (Phi Phi Islands consists of 7 islands, the must thing to do in Krabi).......Our group consists of around 25 passengers including crew, got on the speedboat at around 9plus before zooming on the sea to the island. 1st snorkeling location was at Monkey Bay, the sea is clear with nice coral and marine fishes swimming around it.......it was fun......but the sea water was so salty as i gulped down a few mouthful of it......after tat was to proceed to Maya Bay, the location where "The Beach" featuring Leonardo Di Caprio was filmed....walking around the beach relaxing and photo taking took up 1 hr before going to Phi Phi Don for lunch, the largest island where there is inhabitants residing on the island......Last stop was snorkeling at Bamboo Island.......another fabulous beach and gorgeous beach with coral reefs......fortunately for us, the weather throughout the trip was good......Everything was wrapped up and reached the pier in the late afternoon, went back to hotel to wash up before catching a small nap, and it was time again for dinner and shopping.....

Dinner was at this italian restaurant, named La Luna Italiano, the food was nice and cheap as usual.....and the unpredictable rain began to find its way to the ground again......while waiting for the rain to stop, it was photo taking and crapping with my special one......as the rain began to reduce its frequency, we decided to proceed on.......decided to go for Thai traditional massage while Rach went for her medicure and pedicure.....feels good after tat though i felt ticklish during the process......

Fourth and final day......

Decided to skip breakfast for our last day as we want to sleep till we are "full".......carry on to pack our luggage before checking out.....and it will be a good 5 hours before it will be time to go to the airport, so off again we go for our lunch and last min shopping.......lunch was at Black Canyon Coffee.....nice food they served and nice ambience, and i guess we put on weight for these few days as it was ice cream time again at Fika Cafe....pancakes with egg and banana also went into our stomach before our airport transfer came to pick us up at 5.30pm......before eventually arriving back in S'pore at night which i mentioned earlier on.

Re-charged and re-vitilized but i will still be very much anticipating for my next trip in Dec hopefully ...... =)

Finally......

*yawns*, juz came back from breakfast after work with my colleagues (Johnson, Kelly , Kenny & Mei Huah), have a good time chit chatting and enjoying our "Bak Chor Mee" at Bedok, seldom got to see them unless either i am recall or they are recall or we are on day duty cos we are the so call "blind watch".......i was the one who got recalled yesterday for morning and night duty to cover one of my colleagues who is on mc......received the call on friday night while i was still outside with my friends, only managed to reach home at 1am plus and hit the sack at 2am, and before i could start my dream, the alarm on my handphone started to ring, it was 5.30am, and time to get prepare for work......shag and tired as it may be but no choice, i am on standby.....ya on Hari Raya, no complaints though as i managed to get my leave approved for this month........ I hope it is still not too late to wish all my malay friends "Belated Hari Raya".......

Met up with Rachel at Orchard on Friday evening at 5.30pm, planning to go shopping before meeting up with the rest of them (Ah Tan, Ah Kee and Ah Shaun) at 7.30pm. Went to Lucky Plaza to change currency, we still have around 50000 yen left over from our Japan trip, so decided to use it to exchange for Thai baht for our Krabi trip, along the way i was explaining the logic and reason of using the yen for conversion while she got her own way of reasoning and logic regarding the currency convertion rate, in the end, well, she lost.......hahahaha(she knows what i mean).......after all that done, proceed to Paragon Gucci to check out on the wallet that she had been eyeing all this while which is out of stock at that time. Lucky as it is, the salesperson inform us that the stock juz came in yesterday, so managed to get the wallet for her. It was only 6.30pm at that time and one full hour before the rest join us, so went to a cafe to have coffee while waiting for them.

Resident Evil : Extinction

Finally they arrived and we went dinner at My Mum's Cuisine in Paragon before moving on to buy tickets for Resident Evil : Extinction at Lido. We bought the 11pm show and went to Starbucks near borders for gossiping while waiting for Pei Shi and Wendy who will be joining us at 10pm. Ordered their new flavour "Green Tea Latte", it sucks......only try a few sips and i left it untouched........got a weird taste........yucks.......anyway that was compensated with laughter and fair share of gossiping with them since the last time we met.....and the seats we got for the movies were the last row and it was too far away from the screen and Ah Tan as usual complaining about it......he is the ultimate complain "KING"..... The show was not too bad with a few terrifying moments enhanced with the sound effects but a bit short though, with the ending it has, there should be a part 4 i supposed. Initially after movie, plan was to go for our long awaited "Bak Kut Teh" at Balestier, but got to postpone it yet again cos i got to wake up early next morning for work, so it was home sweet home after tat......

All rite, time to get my precious sleep again......will be working morning and night again tml before my much anticipated holiday trip, and yes u got it......Krabi.

生病了。。。。。。

前几天的咳嗽与感冒，终于让我病倒了。。。。。。


星期一早上，从机场回来就去看了医生。 她说是喉咙发了炎，给了我一些药，要我按时吃。。。。。
吃了药，让我正个人都谜谜糊糊的，也不知道睡了多久。醒来后， 晚餐也没吃上几口，吃了药，又是如此。。。。。。觉得人是多么的不堪一击。。。。。。


今天的我虽然好多了， 但还是觉得浑身无力， 什么事情都不想去做，但又觉得无聊就决定以中文写法来写这一段的部落格。。。够无聊吧。。。。。。


真想快点康复，我就能吃我喜欢吃的东西，做我想做的事。。。。。。今天翻阅了i周刊，里面介绍了几个喝下午茶的好地方，也已经跟我的她说好了，等我我好了后，就一同去享用。最喜欢在懒洋洋的午后，吃着好吃的蛋糕与甜点，在喝上一杯香喷喷的咖啡，多么的享受。。。。。然后再以开心的心情 shopping。。。。。。走到肚子饿了，可以再去找间 cafe, 再痛痛快快的吃它一把。。。。。。哈哈哈，我就是这么的爱吃。。。。


下个星期二，就要与我的她一同去 Krabi， 满期待的，出国旅游总是让人开心的，如果可以的话，多希望每个月都能出游一次呢。。。。。。又在做白日梦了，不过十二月应该可以再出国一次吧，如果能拿得到假期。。。。。。


好了，写着写着也觉得有点累了，在这希望大家都能身体建建康康，开开心心。。。。。。保重喔。。。

Updates.....

Not feeling very well at this moment, having blocked nose, dry throat and feverish for the past two days. Still managed to go for work yesterday though, when i came home this morning, totally knocked out, slept till 2 plus before having my lunch. Went dinner with Rachel at Kim Gary in Vivo, her favourite makan place. After tat, it was shopping and people watching before heading for home.

Met up with Morgan and Munyi on monday after their morning duty at Toa Payoh, went to HDB to view their latest showflat, Coral Spring, a build-to-order project. It is nicely furnished and looks spacious with their furniture choice and arrangements. The completion date was estimated to be in year 2012, which is 5 years from now.......such a long way to go. Had our lunch at Long John's Silver, by the time we finished, it was only 1 plus, decided to go somewhere else to chill out, and two places came to mind, Sunset Way and Dempsey Hill. It does not took us long to reach Sunset Way but when we reach there, it does not look like what we expected, so we drove all the way to Dempsey Hill, which recently received alot of publicity. It was hot with the sun scorching down at us when we reached and needed badly a drink or anything to cool us down, and off we went, Dome though Ben & Jerry's is juz across the lot. The setting is good and there we sat lazing around and chit chatting with our coffee, cheezecake, bananaboat and lime juice in hand. It is always fun and interesting meeting up with them talking and complaining as only we understand each other.....hahaha

Guess munyi should be enjoying herself in Krabi now as i am penning all this down, hahaha... it will be my turn to enjoy myself on the 16th....think the medicine is taking its effect on me....gd nite folks and enjoy the coming weekend.
