Jumbo Seafood & P.S Cafe.....

Met up with CL & YL in the evening after checking out from Conrad...... had our dinner @ Jumbo Seafood, fortunately CL made prior reservation as it was crowded with people. Ordered their in-house famous Chilli & Black Pepper Crab and a few other dishes, in the end we ordered too much that we were unable to finish everything......the restaurant was a bit cramped but the quality of the food make up for this little inconvenience...... some of the photos posted were nicely touched up by rach.....

after our filling & satisfied dinner, decided to proceed to P.S Cafe @ Dempsey to chill out, its was also crowded but we were able to secure a table of 4 though, enjoyed the ambience & the company of both YL & Cl and of cos not forgetting my wife-to-be..... =)

will be working tml & on new year's day..... guys, enjoy the countdown wherever you may be.... =)

Christmas Celebration.......

Christmas eve was spent in the tower working till the next morning, we had our own countdown & christmas makan, ordered turkey breast, beef steak & lamb rack from delifrance, it is the norm for us to work on public holidays as we work 24/7...... on Christmas day after work was my long awaited Conrad Stay, rach & i checked ourselves in @ around 12 plus after our breakfast...... the service, room, amenities,food, facilites & ambience remains one of the best, enjoyed ourselves with the relaxation the hotel offers & after lazing our afternoon away in Conrad, we proceed to suntec & marina for some shopping & makan......shall let the photos do the talking......

Sweet Salty Spicy

Went to uncle's place for 冬至 yesterday，had our lunch together with the rest of my uncles & aunties..... after makan, me & rach went to the Rail Mall which was not too far away to chill out, decided on Sweet Salty Spicy (http://www.sweetsaltyspicy.com.sg/), been wanting to patronize it for quite some time..... rach likes the place as it serves mostly thai dishes & dessert..... ordered one of their signature dessert which i cant really rem the name and a lemon & lime tart to go with our latte & coconut juice....

will be counting down christmas in the tower with my fellow colleagues on duty this coming wed, after which will be my long awaited Conrad Stay.... =)

Counting Down......

Was down with a super big ulcer from sun that leaves me too distraught to do anything, it was till today that it was finally healing and not as much pain as it was for the past few days..... got to bear with the pain while eating, talking and transmiting to pilots during my course of work.... =) anyway got my leave for chinese new year, thus will be joining rach to go malaysia for my 1st oversea new year celebration.... booked my tickets on the high side as it was not too far from the date..... quite a num of activities coming up, counting down to our conrad stay next week, christmas dinner with frens, wedding dinner & polymates meetup, till then...... enjoy the weekend =)

Shopping Haven in the West......

Juz came back from breakfast @ Jurong Point, venture into the newly add on part of the mall.... it was almost the size of the existing JP, lots of shops (eg, Adidas, Aussino, Harris & Beetle Bug), restaurants & cafes (Bakerzin, Din Tai Fung, Dian Xiao Er, New York New York, Old Town, Toast Box, juz to name a few) and it also boast having NTUC Xtra, a 24 hour outlet which have everything u need.... guess it will be a shopping haven for residents living in the west.... Jurong Point is poised to be the largest suburb shopping mall..... =)

I Love Weekend......

Was recalled from 12 midnite till 8am this morning, thus still able to spend my sat with rach @ vivocity..... lunch was at Modesto's which is well-known for their wood-fired pizza.... the crust was nicely done and the topping was generous too.... also ordered a pasta to complete our meal.... service was good and prompt.... nice place overall to enjoy a nice italian meal in the lazy afternoon =) got my mobile broadband from singtel @ vivo too... which i will be able to surf anywhere other than home...

went to have our favourite kway chap this morning after my duty with rach & mum @ boon lay, we like the kway chap here as their ingredients used are fresh and their popularity shows as their business was brisk and customers dun mind waiting...... after tat, went home for my much needed sleep, dinner with 2nd bro tonite was decided on the newly opened Ah Yat Seafood located @ Jurong Bird Park, a 5 mins drive away from home...... the food was okay and will be considering to have our reunion dinner there as they have private rooms equipped with karaoke system =)

Crowne Plaza......

went to Crowne Plaza @ Changi Airport yesterday for buffet lunch to celebrate father's birthday, the place was suggested as i am working my morning night shift which got a break from 1pm - 8pm and it will be convenient for me to walk over from the control tower..... =)

anyway met my family up @ the hotel lobby after work, din really venture into the hotel much though i can see the whole of the hotel from my tower view everyday...... their interior christmas deco was done up simply but elegantly and give guest a homely kind of feeling, guess that's their objective since it was a transit hotel to enable travellers to have a sense of belonging upon touch down.....

had our buffet lunch @ Azur inside Crowne Plaza, not very crowded though, the overall ambience is cosy but the food varieties were really disappointing, for the price it charge, they should have more than wat is offered, the consoling part is probably the dessert corner which is really up to the mark......

after lunch, rest of my family went over to aunt's place while me & rach proceed to Sitex @ Expo, it was so...., so...., so crowded, though expected as it is the last day of the event but the turnout was really amazing..... initially was planning to buy an Asus Eee PC, but changed my mind after factoring in some issues, bought a Lenovo laptop instead, got quite a good deal out of it..... and it will be my christmas pressie from my wife-to-be.... =)
