*****Seasons Greeting*****

Finally received the roster for december, anticipating whether my leave had been approved.....fortunately managed to get my leave on 9th, 10th and 25th(christmas)....... will be gng to KL with Rach as planned on the 6th and return by 9th to attend karen's wedding.....much hype has been say about the latest shopping mall, Pavillion & The Gardens in KL......so decided to check it out since rach has been so enthusiatic about it......for christmas, initially wanted to book The Scarlet Hotel, a boutique hotel situated at Erskine Rd, near Maxwell Market, but it was fully booked, scout for a few alternatives before setting our sights on Pan Pacific..... time seems to pass so fast before we even realising it......it will be another brand new year before u knew it...... =)

Yesterday after my morning duty, went home to catch a wink before waking up at 12plus, picked up rach at 1 plus to go for our high tea at Orchard Hotel.....the hotel had already done up its deco for christmas and u could sense the season greetings in the air......the cafe was on the 2nd storey juz beside Hua Ting, a chinese restuarant tat serves nice authenic cantonese food, went there once with my family, and the food was really good...... anyway our high tea was at La Terrasse , the food was not bad especially their assorted sandwiches and salmon sandwiches.....i also like the cosy sofa and nice ambience accompanied by the smoothing music played by the pianist juz directly below us......my ideal type of afternoon, lazing around having my coffee and nice spread of pastries and sandwiches etc.....

"erhmm, nice"
Christmas Deco in Orchard Hotel

Christmas Deco in Takashimaya

Digestion comes in the form of walking from one end of orchard till the other..... took a few christmas decos photos along the way....... while walking we also saw a cute little girl dressed up as snow white taking photos with the christmas deco, hahaha....... coincidentally bumped into Songde while on the way to Taka, one of the good friends i made during NS days, still the same old him and will be meeting him and the rest of them this coming dec for our yearly meetup.......=)

While on our way back to pick up the car in the evening, decided to have our drinks at Jackie's Chan Cafe.....went there the last time but din try it out (as post in my previous post) so decided to give it a shot since we are quite full and only need to quench our thirst......order a mango pudding and their so called speciality, Dragonberry Frappe......not much customers at the time, only two of us plus another couple, found ourselves a nice cosy corner and enjoy our drink and desserts......the mango pudding was so-so and the price was a bit of the high side considering the quantity and quality, but i must admit that the Dragonberry Frappe was nice...... sweet and sourish juz nice to the tastebuds and goes down smoothly.......at least for mine......strongly recommended if anyone was to go............ all rite, tat's all for yesterday and today will be enjoying my Dvds......enjoy the weekend my friends.......
